Maslina Resort Visual Identity

 

Maslina is a luxury boutique resort in Maslinica Bay nearby Stari Grad on the Island of Hvar.  Enclosed by pine forest, olive orchards, vineyards and the sea, the resort features 50 rooms and three villas, a restaurant, a bar, swimming pools, wellnes&spa, a children’s playroom, a wine club, a meeting room, a library, a gallery, an organic garden …

The underlying concept of the resort is mindful luxury – a premium experience in perfect synch with the environment visible from its unpretentious architecture seamlessly merged with the surrounding, the use of local and regional resources, foodstuffs and vendors, organic and seasonal cuisine, avoidance of harmful materials…

The resort’s visual identity was designed by Bruketa&Žinić&Grey Agency inspired by its non-disruptive architecture – the pavilions immersed in nature and façades adorned with ethereal vertical wooden beams. The identity is permeated by vertical rows of broken and full lines, minimal typography and colours reflecting the immediate surroundings.
