The fifth PechaKucha Night Zagreb took place in the Museum of Contemporary Art on 20th February 2010, only a few months after the museum inauguration. This time it was all about the humanitarian action which was simultaneously happening in 70 PechaKucha cities around the globe, and all with the aim of raising as many funds as possible for the earthquake-devastated Haiti with joint creative forces.
The performers were: Braco Dimitrijević, Croatian Caritas, Mrle (Let3), I-gle, Montažstroj, Ruta, Petar Mišković, Antonia Majača and Ivana Bago, Tomislav Torjanac, Valerij Jurešić, Ana Hušman and Marko Tadić. This time we hired professional presenters, Mario Kovač and a Japanese girl who speaks excellent Croatian, Kono Kazuko.
The result: 1.300 people came and 30.389,00 Kuna were raised, as Zagreb’s contribution to the global action that resulted in a new school building on Haiti.
Co-organizers: 3LHD, Komakino, Lana Cavar and MSU.
