Zlatno Brdo winery is located in the wine capital of Baranja – Zmajevac. It takes its name from the eponymous locality where premium Baranja wines thrive. The name which would be translated to “Golden Hill” was originally coined by the Romans who were the first to recognize the quality of the grapes ripening in this region.
A unique aspect of the maturation process of these wines is the use of so-called gators – distinctive architectural cellars that the people of Baranja began carving into the hills nearly two centuries ago. Zlatno Brdo winery emphasizes quality, continuity and production numbers that won’t harm the quality as the values that they will never abandon.
The agency Bruketa&Žinić&Grey was tasked with redesigning the packaging of their wines. During the development of the concept, a new emblem for the winery was created, embodying the brand’s philosophy. The idea for the label design stems from the fact that this emblem is strong enough to stand alone. In a monumental and simple manner, the emblem symbolizes both the Zlatno Brdo locality and the gators where the wines mature, as well as the story of the entire Baranja wine region.
