Podgora unifies contrasts

Hotels Medora (former Hotels Podgora), the largest hotel complex in a small town of the same name in Makarska Riviera, have decided to go into the process of rebranding, renaming and redesign. The main challenge during the rebranding process, besides changing the image of the hotel, was to build a perception of this destination as a place providing authentic and rich experience and to also differentiate it from other places on the Makarska Riviera.

Podgora unifies contrasts, the sea depths with the mountain heights. When we look at the mountain Biokovo, we feel humble, when we look at the sea, we are inspired.

The roof brand Medora was named after endemic shell species found on Biokovo. Consistency and beauty of the shell symbolizes the essence of what Medora as a brand wants to accomplish – keeping the Podgora tradition alive and a new rebirth of the town. These contrasts are the foundation of the new visual identity and slogan – Touch the see, hug the mountain.
