The idea for this table emerged from the design concept of the entire Infinum office which was inspired by superheros and their supernatural powers. In line with this concept, the office conference room design was influenced by x-ray vision. The whole room reflected this in furniture construction and design, simplified basic contours, and being reminiscent of penetrating materials.

Brigada executed this by using thin metal profiles coated in a characteristic, X-ray bluish color. For the same reason, the walls and table plate was made of glass, emphasizing the form of recurring profiles that formed the outline of a simple volume. LED strip lighting in the style of an x-ray beam was custom designed for this purpose.

The challenge was to achieve a table, made from a heavy and rough metal, appear translucent and futuristic. To maintain specific tech needs, power outlets and network lines are discreetly integrated into the table. The curtains, floor and chairs are made in gray to offset the context, act “invisible” and also highlight the table and lighting which draws all attention to the center of the meeting room.
