IADAS is the organizer of The Webby Awards, popularly dubbed as “The Internet Oscars” for setting quality and excellence standards and fostering innovation

The International Academy of Digital Arts and Sciences (IADAS) was founded in 1998 in New York with a mission to help drive the creative, technical, purpose-driven & professional progress of the Internet and evolving forms of digital media.

The IADAS members are leading industry experts working to advance the electronic medium, and membership is by invitation only. Some of IADAS members include: Suzana Apelbaum (Head of Creative, Google), Casey Acierno (Social Impact Lead, Spotify), Jonathan Adashek (Chief Communications Officer, IBM), Anusha Alikhan (Vice President of Communications, Wikimedia Foundation), Samiri Ansari (CCO, Ogilvy New York) and Azher Ahmed (Director of Digital, DDB), etc.

Davor Bruketa, creative director and co-founder of the Bruketa&Žinić&Grey Agency has been invited to become an executive IADAS member. Together with 150 global members, he has taken part in the creation of the “In Collaboration” Report.

This Report provides a comprehensive overview exploring the key role of collaboration in the digital industry, in particular in the context of creating creative and innovative projects. It includes a detailed analysis of how collaborative efforts by creative agencies, technology platforms and brands can result not only in visually stunning and technologically advanced campaigns, but also in achievable and measurable business goals. The Report underscores the importance of synergy between diverse perspectives and expertise, which is often decisive for achieving excellence in digital projects. Tapping into practical cases, the “In Collaboration” Report illustrates how successful collaborations improve creativity and strengthen brand market positioning, allowing brands to stand out in an increasingly dynamic and competitive digital environment.

This prestigious Academy is also the organizer of three leading international competitions. The Webby Awards was founded in 1996 to recognize and honor excellence on the Internet, which includes websites, online advertising, various video formats, mobile apps, social media and many other segments. This award is dubbed “The Internet Oscars” for setting quality and excellence standards and fostering innovation. The award-winning companies often become industry leaders, and their outstanding projects a source of inspiration for others. The Lovie Awards recognizes European Internet excellence in the fields of culture, technology & business. The Anthem Awards honors the purpose and mission-driven work of people, companies and organizations worldwide.
