DNNA candles and diffusers exhibited in a museum in Singapore

Located in the heart of Singapore’s bustling Marina Bay area, the Red Dot Design Museum is a prominent city landmark showcasing some of the best contemporary design projects

Each year the Red Dot Design Museum Singapore makes a selection of the Red Dot award winning projects, winners of one of the world’s most sought-after design quality seals. As of recently, the packaging for DNNA home fragrances is among them. The fragrances were created by Arnaud Fourré at the famous perfume creation center in Grasse, France, and Bruketa&Žinić&Grey were in charge of the branding and design.

DNNA scented candles and diffusers are a successful business project of the trophy tennis player Donna Vekić. The DNNA brand is a reflection of Donna’s personality and inspirational story about her journey to success. True success never happens overnight, which is why blood, sweat and tears constitute the integral part of this story. That is how this brand is positioned as well – two sides of the same coin, ups and downs every success story is filled with.

The duality that lies at the heart of this brand is also featured in the packaging design. The steel globe also used as a candle snuffer is a symbol of tennis and strength, whereas the fragile glass vessel stands for tenderness. Every vessel is unique and handmade out of the highest quality Murano glass, blown, heated, cooled, personalized and signed by master glassmaker Stefano Mattiello.

Located in the heart of Singapore’s bustling Marina Bay area, the Red Dot Design Museum is a prominent city landmark. The museum occupies a restored heritage glass building and offers visitors a captivating journey through the realms of contemporary communication and product design. From cutting-edge gadgets and innovative consumer products to thought-provoking visual communication campaigns, the museum’s collection showcases the latest trends and provides a glimpse into the future of design.

In addition to being included in the Red Dot Design Museum Singapore and winning the Red Dot Award, DNNA also received other accolades for branding and design. It won second place in the luxury category of the world’s largest packaging design competition, The Dieline, alongside Lady Gaga and Don Perignon. It has also won gold at the Hiiibrand international competition focused on brand design.

DNNA products can be found in places such as the American Dream in New York, Segraeti in Monte Carlo, The Mall of America in Minneapolis, Belodore in Budapest, in the luxurious Anantara Resort in the Maldives or via DNNA webshop.
