On the occasion of US Independence Day, on July 4, Times Square NYC hosted a one-day pop-up Tolerance Poster Show featuring more than one hundred Tolerance posters, including the poster by Bruketa&Žinić&Grey Agency.
The poster show initiative by the Tolerance Project Inc. invites designers from around the globe to create a poster illustrating their view on tolerance to be showcased in public spaces.
This is a traveling poster show with over 140 shows staged in more than 40 countries worldwide to date. Apart from Time Square NYC, the poster show was also organized in Dubai, Los Angeles, the Design Museum in London, Reykjavík, Helsinki, Toronto, Beijing, Berlin Design Week and the Art Library in Berlin (Kunstbibliothek Berlin), in Madrid and many other cities.
Besides Times Square, this poster has won another award in NYC: Graphis Poster Gold.
The poster designed by Davor Bruketa was drawn by Domagoj Šokčević. The poster show in Times Square was organized by the Tolerance Project Inc. and AMER_ICAN, and supported by Times Square Alliance and Vesna Cremona.
