Zagreb’s mobile app for tourists awarded in Paris at the first European tourist promotion festival
The first European tourist promotion festival Tourism&Strategy was held in Paris from June 3 – 6 awarding the best tourist promotion projects in Europe. Zagreb Be There – Croatian mobile app for tourists, won an award as the best in digital media category, competing with 30 cities from 20 European countries.
Zagreb Be There is a project created for Zagreb Tourist Board by Bruketa&Žinić OM and Brlog, enabling a gamefied sightseeing experience by using smartphones, including rewards. Besides the classic tourist locations, what makes this app different are its specially created routes which reveal less known, but equally interesting locations in the city.
Earlier this year the app won MIXX award at the Days of Communication as the best Croatian mobile app. Recognition from professionals, as well as good user feedback from the visitors of Zagreb who use it more and more, will result with new interesting routes this summer.
