In 2010 we participated in the campaign for the Srce (Heart) Association for which we had created a visual identity in the previous year.
The Srce Association is the first and only organization in the town of Sveti Ivan Zelina and the surrounding area that brings together children with developmental problems, children with special needs and their families. These are children with motor skills and mental disorders, learning difficulties, behavioural disorders, problems with speech, reading, writing, sensory-motor functions, children with the Down syndrome.
They need special care and attention, so the Association decided to start a campaign and gather funds to build a house in which these children could reside daily, develop and socialize, a house that would also help their families function more easily.
The campaign promoted the number for the humanitarian line – 060 90 23. In TV and radio commercials the popular song Porculan (Porcelain) by the band Pips Chips and Videoclips was used and children’s faces were used on posters and magazine ads.
During the campaign, the Association also organized several events during which funds were raised. Other than financial help, the campaign was also intended to encourage companies to donate construction and other materials needed for building the house. For that purpose we designed letters/flyers that invite recipients to put together a house in a few easy steps.
The goals of the campaign were reached – local community provided the land, construction materials were obtained, as well as additional financial funds necessary for building. The campaign for the humanitarian phone alone helped raise 100.000 HRK from December 2009 until July 2010, when the cornerstone was laid.
