Stina Winery and Bruketa&Žinić&Grey Agency won Silver Drum at the Golden Drum International Festival for the Stina Plavac Mali Stipančić wine label design. This festival is one of the most renowned advertising festivals in Europe celebrating its 29th anniversary this year. According to the organizers, the festival’s goal is to celebrate the best ideas, the best creative teams and the best individuals who left their mark on the industry, those who manage to breathe a soul into a great idea.
The silver-award winning Stina Plavac Mali Stipančić wine label design evokes the extreme slope of the vineyard in which the first single vineyard wine of Stina Winery was created. All Stina wines are made on the Island of Brač widely known for its white stone – a source of inspiration to diverse artists for centuries. In the same fashion, Stina wine is meant to inspire anyone who tastes it. And that is why the wine label is a blank canvas sparking everyone’s creativity.
The first single vineyard Stina wine, Stina Plavac Mali Stipančić, is specific because it comes from a hard-to-reach, stone enclosed vineyard on the Island of Brač cultivated on the extreme slope. The four-layered label evokes the extreme slope of the vineyard, and dares everyone who uses it as their canvas to rise to a single challenge: to be creative and work around the slopes embossed on it, replicating the work of winemakers in the Stina Plavac Mali Stipančić vineyard.
