WPP Extraordinary Awards is a new program celebrating and recognising the outstanding creativity of WPP people and companies in the past year. All WPP companies could enter their work and there are hundreds of them in 112 countries.
They compete in four categories which reflect WPP’s integrated offer: Communications, Experience, Commerce and Technology, with a fifth – the top prize – for the best example of Creative Transformation. Among 1000 entries the jury selected around 10 finalists in each category and only one winner in each.
Bruketa&Žinić&Grey is one of few WPP companies shortlisted in two categories. Drinkers Pay Their Way has been shortlisted among the 10 in the Communications category for powerful campaigns based on deep insights that connect brands’ messaging with audiences in meaningful ways.
Untouched by Light has been shortlisted among 10 in the Creative Transformation category for the most remarkable work that reflects the power of creativity to build better futures for our clients and communities.
“Creativity is more than just a great idea, and it manifests itself in many different ways throughout our company. It has the power to bring about change – in the way people feel, think and behave – and to transform businesses. The Extraordinary Awards are designed to celebrate the best work, and unrivalled talent, across WPP companies”, said Mark Read, CEO, WPP.
