What does a responsible fish look like?

Assignment
Cromaris is a leading premium positioned company in the production and processing of high quality Mediterranean fish.
The assignment was to design packaging allowing customers to check freshness, quality and origin of fishery products at the point of sale.
Approach
The most important criterion for choosing a fishery product is the fish freshness. The fish freshness assessment is difficult, which is why Cromaris fish comes wrapped in a thin layer of transparent “skin” folia, i.e. in skin pack.
In addition to preserving the product freshness, color and integrity for a longer while, skin pack enables the customer to look&feel the product they buy at the point of sale.
The skin packed product also displays the information about the fish species and farming method, whereas the QR code on the packaging takes the customers for a virtual fish farm tour to assure them that every Cromaris fish is raised in excellent farming conditions.
