The Tunnel best digital mix project in the Adriatic region

11th Weekend Media Festival

The 11th Weekend Media Festival (WMF) in Rovinj included the presentation of SoMo Borac, BalCannes and Indoor kreativac award winners. The Tunnel project, carried out by the Bruketa&Žinić&Grey Agency, Croatia Insurance Company, Adris Group, Brigada and Millenium promocija, was declared the best regional project in the Digital Mix category in the SoMo Borac competition. The same project was listed among the 25 best communication projects in the region in the BalCannes competition. In addition, the Bruketa&Žinić&Grey Agency won third place in the Indoor kreativac competition, for its Addiko Bank ad proposal staged on public transport.

To date The Tunnel has won seven awards, including Effie for marketing effectiveness, MIXX for digital marketing, and Red Dot won by Brigada for spatial communication design. To remind you, it was an interactive and multimedia exhibition put on in the Zagreb Grič Tunnel last autumn as a time travel through a parallel history of Croatia and the Croatia Insurance Company. The exhibition, seen by more than one hundred thousand visitors, engaged citizens as well who were able to give their contributions and tell their own personal histories using social media.

The Bruketa&Žinić&Grey Agency won the Indoor kreativac award voted by the audience. The award-winning advert, called Nadohvat ruke (At your fingertips), featured a bunch of banknotes wrapped around a strap on public transport, sending a message that Addiko cash loans are simple and quick, at your fingertips.

SoMo Borac is the most important award for digital communications in the region, voted by lead people from advertising agencies in the region. The BalCannes contest is organised by the WMF together with the Croatian Association of Communications Agencies (HURA). The best projects are nominated by one-of-a-kind jury of 25 representatives of advertisers, agencies and journalists. The Indoor kreativac competition strives to promote creative potentials of the indoor media, and was organised by the B1 Plakati Company for the eighth consecutive year.
