After winning D&AD, Design Week and being shortlisted in Cannes, Hope wins Golden Drum Silver and Bronze

The prizes for marketing communications projects from central and eastern Europe were awarded on October 20th at the international festival of creativity Golden Drum in Ljubljana. Bruketa&Žinić&Grey won the Silver Golden Drum prize in the Design category and Bronze among all Adriatic region projects for their work Hope, a monograph for the Adris Foundation.

This project has gathered 24 illustrators, some of the best ones in Croatia, in order to portray 24 of the largest projects in the field of science, education and creativity that were so far supported by the Adris Foundation. Presented in one place, in the book Hope, these projects and their illustrations provide hope that Croatia has a future. The book is sensitive to the touch. The more you use it, the more hope there is.

So far, Hope has won several international and domestic awards among them D&AD Pencil and Design Week Awards, and was also on the Cannes Lions shortlist.

At this year’s Golden Drum, 27 international jury members evaluated over 1000 market communications projects from 27 countries. The Best Piece category jury, in which Hope was competing, was presided by Bruno Bertelli, Global Chief Creative Officer of Publicis Worldwide, a regular speaker and juror at Cannes Lions, Clio and New York Festivals.

As the organizers put it, Best Piece Section is intended for stand-alone work whose concept, effective use of communication channels and professional execution appeals to users.

The international festival of creativity Golden Drum is the biggest and the most important event in the communications industry in the Adriatic region and has been taking place for the past 24 years, organized by the Slovenian Advertising Chamber.
