Creativity Awards (USA) awarded a silver medal to the series of TV ads “Đuru – the local guru” made by the Bruketa&Žinić OM agency in cooperation with the Heineken Croatia team for Karlovačko beer.
Creativity Annual Awards is one of the oldest international competitions that has been rewarding creativity and innovation in design and advertising for forty-seven years. This year, hundreds of projects from twenty-six countries competed for the awards.
Đuru, the local guru, is the lead character in the series of TV ads for Karlovačko, who, inspired by life coaches, gives out unconventional advice and motivates people to lead better lives. He is a motivator and a voice of optimism for all those that like to complain and not do much about it.
The award-winning pieces will be published in Creativity Awards Annual – publication that will see the light of day later this year.
Some of the judges were: Joe Wright, the owner and creative director of Sibling Rivaly Studio, that has cooperated with clients such as BBC, Sony, Cadillac, Samsung, and HBO; Robert Mitchell, who has worked for famous clients such as BMW, Jeep, Volkswagen, and Samsung before starting his own company in Dubai; Ferju Cuevas, who has over 10 years of experience in marketing for famous brands, such as Samsung, LG, Skechers, P&G, Fiat, Jeep, Nike, Old Spice and Gillette; and others.
