Brandoctor got three 2016 REBRAND100® Global Awards

Triple international success of Croatian Brandoctors at REBRAND100® Global Awards, the most important professional assessment for repositioning brands, where they caught up with the world’s leading companies Interbrand, Landor and FutureBrand

After being included in the global REBRAND Hall of Fame in 2015, among the world’s best branding agencies, brand consultants from Croatia’s Brandoctor continue to collect the highest global recognition. For the eighth consecutive year, they won the most prestigious international award in the field of rebranding, REBRAND100® Global Awards, for not one but three Croatian brands.

They received the special Distinction award for the rebranding of Froddo and AutoZubak, while for rebranding of Degordian they received the Merit award. These Croatian brands competed with others from 42 countries, and in terms of results achieved they found themselves side by side or in front of some of the world’s leading brands such as Land Rover, Cadillac, Alitalia, Northwest Airlines and UBS.

Anja Bauer Minkara, director and senior brand consultant at Brandoctor, said: “Fresh, relevant ideas, positioning and design that touch the hearts of consumers had a decisive role in this year’s jury voting. We were awarded for the three brands that have created demand not only in Croatia, but also in the European Union. Thanks to that they grew in the market and increased their financial value.”

Business results achieved by Froddo, AutoZubak and Degordian after rebranding confirm and bear witness to the importance of brand strategy for the entire business. After rebranding, Froddo recorded a growth of 20% on the Croatian market and increased the number of foreign buyers by 60%. AutoZubak’s sales of new cars rose by 13%, while Degordian achieved revenue growth of 43% and expanded the business to over 20 foreign markets in a year and a half since the launch of the brand.

The success of these projects through implementation of Brandoctor’s brand strategy was contributed to by the agencies Brigada and Bruketa&Žinić OM, as well as external associates Igor Manasteriotti and Mia Marić for graphic design and illustrator BooBoo Tannenbaum.

By winning these awards, Croatian agency Brandoctor found itself among the world’s leading companies in the industry such as Interbrand, Landor and FutureBrand, whose clients include global brands BMW, Prada, Siemens, Samsung, Microsoft, Philips, Lavazza, Pirelli, Bacardi and others.
