Interactive touristic platform

Until recently Istria didn’t have a service that could provide a preview of the overall touristic, cultural and gastronomic program in an organized, interesting and simple way. As an answer to this challenge, Istraturist and Maistra decided to start an interactive web portal Istria Experience enabling guests to simply create and realize their own unique experience of Istria.

Bruketa&Žinić OM agency needed to introduce this new platform through its visual identity.  The communication strategy focused on the fact that Istria Experience is a kind of a social network and not just your usual booking web page.

It’s a place where visitors can communicate between themselves, rate the programs, and share their own experience of Istria. Hence the creative idea: Plan is yours so PLAN IT, LIVE IT, SHARE IT.

The visual identity is based upon an olive tree motif as an inevitable part of Mediterranean and Istria, a symbol of longevity and Istrian tourism tradition.

The tree connects the idea of multiple choices with time limitation. While the branches visualize different types of vacation, on the other hand they look like a sort of a timeline, symbol of modern, networked, speedy lifestyle.
