New Nike store interventions by Brigada

A space needs more than print ads to evoke brand identity

Once again, Brigada has temporarily transformed Nike stores in Zagreb and Ljubljana based on Nike’s global in-store guidelines. Both projects demonstrate Brigada’s strategy of working creatively with detailed brand guidelines and are based on the belief that space needs much more than printed ads to evoke the brand identity.

This time they were in charge of the Pegasus running sneakers promotion in display windows and the shop interior in Zagreb’s central Nike shop on Ilica Street, while in Ljubljana they tried to create a basketball court experience on the occasion of the EuroBasket 2013 competition.

Since Zagreb’ concept is urban running , the used visuals and materials are based upon urban motifs such as concrete and wall painting. What’s interesting about it is a segment of a real tartan athletic track on the entrance, distinguishing this from common floor coverings in a tactile way.

The playground is all around us – was the concept in Ljubljana so the floor graphics and 3D surfaces imitate the basketball court and its parquet flooring. What’s special in this case are the basketball hoops, the basketball machine as the key element of interacting with potential buyers and the newly used niche space with KD sneakers displayed in basketball hoops.
