As a member of the jury, Nikola Žinić participated in the Russian PART competition specialized in packaging design. PART stands for Packaging: Art, Research, Technology, and the award has been founded as part of the international exhibit RosUpack, one of the leading professional packaging industry gatherings for Russia, CIS and Eastern Europe for the past 16 years. The project is supported by What the Pack? the biggest Russian media on packaging design.
PART Awards includes the nominations Manufacturer of the Year as well as Design of the Year and Students’ Concept of the Year, and besides Žinić this year’s winners were chosen by Sam Stone (Identica, UK), also a member of the D&AD and Design Week London jury; Dan Mikkin (Brand Manual, Estonia), the founder of the Art Directors Club Estonia and a respectable Estonian brand consultant; Vasily Andreev (495Design, Russia), teaching at the British Graduate School of Design and others.
