Good Ideas Glow in the Dark annual report which was created by Bruketa&Žinić OM in cooperation with Predrag Grubić, Kristina Miljavac and Hrvoje Patajac from Adris group, is displayed in the Poldi Pezzoli Museum in Milan as part of the Intorno al libro (About the Book) exhibition held during April as part of the Salone del Mobile (the furniture fair).
The exhibition sees the book not only as a paper object, the container of the written word and the fundamental tool for sharing knowledge, but rather as a universe of objects honouring it, with complementary ideas to it.
The exhibition features bookmarks made from different materials and with the most sophisticated shapes, bookstands more or less foldable, bookends, bookshelves, reading lamps and pieces of furniture, all inspired by books and designed by the most important contemporary designers.
Each of the artworks on show is chosen among those by the most important designers: masters as Achille Castiglioni, Gae Aulenti and Giotto Stoppino, or protagonists of present day international scene as Franco Raggi, Pierre Charpin, Giulio Iacchetti, Martí Guixé, Gabriele Pezzini, Nendo, Matteo Ragni, Paul Cocksedge and Marco Ferreri. There are also works by contemporary artists as Ugo La Pietra, Stefano Arienti, Vedovamazzei and Peter Wuthrich.
