Bronze Cannes Lion for Marodi
The project “A soup to remember” won bronze at the most prestigious creativity festival
Croatian Post’s QR postal stamp was proclaimed the Best Internet Marketing project at the Web Fest .Me regional festival. This is an annual festival held in Belgrade for the selection of the best regional web projects and the education, promotion and popularization of Internet use. Just to remind you, the QR postal stamp was created to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the issuance of postal stamps by Croatian Post.
The first Web Fest .Me was held in 2007. The festival’s main goals are to familiarize the public with important achievements in the field of online communications, and to educate a wide range of people about the practical and creative use of the Internet in daily life and about the advantages of using the potential that modern technology offers.
Awards at the Web Fest .Me competition are assigned in several categories – more precisely, for websites according to different areas – while internet marketing falls into a category of its own. The success of marketing campaigns is evaluated based on their creativity, i.e. the idea, content, quality of production and innovation, and ultimately, their final impact. The jury is made up of numerous experts from the region.
This year’s Web Fest .Me also featured a conference with Matt Mullenweg, founder of Word Press, and Tony Conrad, Silicon Valley investor and the founder of the about.me website.
