At the WEB FEST 2010 we won a special award of the jury for internet marketing, based on around ten of our submitted digital campaigns which were realized at the end of 2009 and during 2010, in cooperation with our sister digital agency Brlog.
The campaigns for Tele2 were among our submitted and awarded projects – more precisely, Smiley Revolution and Superfriend, which promoted Tele2 services through digital content such as applications on social networks or specially designed web pages. Less than a month ago, the Smiley Revolution project won the award in the Croatian competition of the same kind – Web Strategy (Web strategija).
In addition to this, there were online parts of the campaigns for the Karlovačko beer (Karlo), Pivovarna Union (Facebook application Union Dragon), the viral video content for Petrol (Every client is a star), the microsite and the Facebook application My Croatian experience for the Croatian Tourist Board and the web page for the unwanted Christmas gifts exchange Merry Bižić which we made for our business partners.
Among projects of the sister agency Brlog, we will mention the Ronhill Unlimited mobile portal and Ronhill Unlimited Augmented Reality, and the webpage, online ads and communication on social networks for the JOTS footwear brand.
WEB FEST is a regional internet festival for the election of the best regional web projects but also education, promotion and popularization of the Internet use, which is annually held in Belgrade.
WEB FEST was held for the first time in 2007; its main goals are familiarizing the public with the important achievements within the field of online communications, as well as education of wide range of people on practical and creative use of the Internet in everyday life and advantages of using potentials which modern technologies offer.
At the WEB FEST competitions the awards are assigned in several categories – more precisely, for web pages according to different areas – internet marketing falls into a category of its own. The success of the marketing campaigns is evaluated based on their creativity, that is idea, content, quality of production and innovation, and in the end their final impact. The jury is formed of numerous experts from the region.
In the WEB FEST 2010 jury some of them were Jan Jilek (Xclaim) Dubravka Jusić (Vipnet, HUOJ), Dean Restak (B92.net), Ilinka Zaharčeva (Google), Milena Đuričić (Google), Boris Stojanović (Sapient/Nitro), Jelena Jovanović (Etarget) etc.
