The Cannes Lions is probably the largest world gathering of market communications experts
The Cannes Lions is an international competition for market communications. Every year, more than 24.000 projects enter the competition. The Cannes Lions Festival has been held every year in June since 1954 gathering communicational professionals with more than 8.000 delegates from around 90 countries.
For seven days, all of them attend workshops, exhibitions, showings and seminars, hosted by the most respected people from this field and beyond, such as Sir Martin Sorrell, Bob Greenberg, Maurice Lévy, David Droga, Mark Tutssel and Tham Khai Meng, Mark Zuckerberg, Ben Stiller, Yoko Ono, Kofi Annan, Steve Ballmer, Biz Stone and Bob Geldof.
Considering all this, being chosen as one of the finalists of the Cannes Lions is no mean feat; so far, we have managed to achieve this twice – in 2008 with the Well done project and in 2009 with Faces.
