The Magdalena Festival is a non-profit creativity festival organized and managed by young people for young people. It was founded in 1999, as an answer to expensive and formal advertising festivals. It is a competition for authors under 30 years of age, if necessary – with the assistance of an older tutor, and with projects which can be in the form of an idea and not necessarily realized.
The festival takes place in Maribor every year in May, and it is well known for its informal atmosphere and its awards – the women’s bras.
Several young creative directors from the agency won the popular bras: Imelda Ramović and Mirel Hadžijusufović, Nives Teskera, with the support of Moe Minkara (special jury award), and the latest, but hopefully not the last one, are Tonči Klarić with the support of Mislav Vidović and Nebojša Cvetković, who triumphed in 2010, winning as much as three golden bras.
