Lürzer’s Archive, one of the most established advertising magazines issued a special edition “200 best packaging designers worldwide”, including Bruketa&Žinić OM. There are 43 countries on this list, and Bruketa&Žinić OM are the only ones from Croatia.
This is the first specialized packaging design edition by Lürzer’s Archive in the past five years. The best 200 have been selected by the jury among 3000 candidates suggested by the magazine editors, based on their research.
“It’s all in simplicity, directness and detail”, said Harry Pearce, one of the jury members working for Pentagram, the largest global design consultancy. Other members of the jury were Michael Weinzetti, Lürzer’s Archive Editor-in-Chief for the past 20 years; Otis D. Gibson, CCO in Gertrude global agency whose clients include Absolut Vodka, adidas, AmEx, Coca-Cola, Google, MTV Toyota; and Christoph Haberle, professor at Hochschule der Medien (Media Academy) in Stutttgart where he teaches design and communications with a focus on packaging design and advertising.
Besides Bruketa&Žinić OM, agencies like the Swedish Forsman&Bodenfors, American and German Leo Burnett office, German Kolle Rebbe and others are on the list.
